La conformazione asimmetrica delle nostre forcelle, ovvero la componente elastica da una parte e quella idraulica dall'altra, fa in modo che il carico non sia distribuito uniformemente tra i due steli e si viene a creare una maggiore resistenza all'affondamento nello stelo sinistro, il destro infatti può salire qualche millimetro in più causando una flessione nei foderi e quindi un maggiore attrito tra steli e boccole. L'SWS nasce con l'intento di creare una certa resistenza anche nello stelo destro, sfruttando l'aria presente all'interno del fodero. Al comprimersi della forcella l'aria dovrà passare attraverso uno spazio molto piccolo lasciato intorno all'asta del charger, questo garantirà un maggiore supporto nelle compressioni ad alta velocità, rendendo la guida più stabile e prevedibile, inoltre la sua forma e posizionamento fanno in modo che l'olio all'interno dei foderi finisca interamente a lubrificare le boccole, e non all'interno dello stelo dove non svolge alcuna funzione.

The asymmetrical conformation of our forks, i.e. the elastic component on one side and the hydraulic component on the other, ensures that the load is not uniformly distributed between the two sides and a greater resistance to sinking is created in the left one, in fact, the right-hand side can rise a few more millimeters causing a flexion of the lowers and therefore greater friction between the sanchions and bushings. The SWS was created with the intention of creating a certain resistance also in the right leg, exploiting the air present inside the lower leg.
As the fork compresses, the air will have to pass through a very small space left around the charger shaft, this will ensure greater support in high-speed compressions, making the ride more stable and predictable. Furthermore, its shape and positioning ensure that the lubrication oil ends up completely lubricating the bushings, and not inside the stanchion where it does not perform any function.
