Il comune o ring quando sottoposto ad elevate velocità può arrotolarsi e arrivare ad indicare un altezza imprecisa, mentre il quad ring risulta essere più preciso perché anche ad elevate velocità non può arrotolarsi su se stesso e quindi non avrete mai indicazioni di falsi fine corsa. Utilizzandone uno su entrambi gli steli si possono effettuare delle misure comparative tra settaggi o sentieri diversi.

When subjected to high speeds, the common o ring can roll up and indicate an inaccurate height, while the quad ring is more precise because even at high speeds it cannot roll up on itself and therefore you will never have false end-of-stroke indications. Using on both stanchions, comparative measurements can be made between different settings or trails.
